There are quite a few different types of wood shingles/shakes that can be installed on your home or building. Most of the cedar shingle/shakes are available in pressure treated, or with a fire rated protection. The most common is the Red Cedar Perfection Shingle. The Tapersawn Shake is most popular. We prefer the Tapersawn Shake because it is slightly thicker and more durable. Then there is the Hand Split Shake for those people that like the old country look.
